Things That You Can Do to Help

Invite someone who has lost a loved over during the holidays. Being with others may help a grieving person.

Send a hand-written letter or give them a phone call. Simple things can make a big difference.

Check on the person to see if they are okay. Some people might experience a deep low or depression during this season.

Lend a listening ear and a compassionate shoulder to cry on to comfort their aching hearts.

How long does it take for the box to be shipped once the order is placed?

At this early stage of our business, we are only shipping boxes out once a month. Orders received by the 15th of the month will be shipped no later than the 30th of the month. If someone needs a rush order, they can request it.

What happens if the person I sent the box to does not like or cannot use the items in it?

If someone feels an item is not useful or appropriate for them, we encourage them to regift the item to someone else. Otherwise, the entire box with no damaged items or wrapping materials will need to be returned.

What if one or more of the items in the box is damaged?

Typically, replacement items will be sent. Please see our return or refund policy for more details.

Why should I send a Caring to Comfort box instead of flowers?

Flowers are a wonderful gift, but despite the cost and their beauty they only last for a short time.  Most of the items in our boxes can last a lifetime and be a constant reminder of how much you care.

When is the best time to order a Caring to Comfort box for someone?

Any time after the loss.  Imagine the joy, surprise and gratitude after receiving one of our comforting boxes 7 years after the loss. That type of care and thoughtfulness says more than you'll ever know.

What is in the boxes?

Items we feel will bring physical, mental and spiritual comfort.  A cozy blanket to snuggle, a journal to write in thoughts, a book on grief and loss, a stress ball or a picture frame and much more.  Different boxes contain different items, so make sure you read the list of what's in each box.

Can the items in the box be personalized?

Most items in our boxes can be personalized, though there will be an additional cost and time before shipping for this service.
